Tips for the Softest Sugar Cookies

Cream the Butter: Start by beating the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This step is crucial for creating that soft, tender texture. Don’t rush it!

Don’t Overdo the Flour: Use a light hand when measuring your flour and avoid packing it tightly. Too much flour can make your cookies dry and crumbly instead of soft and chewy.

Time is Important: Keep a close eye on your cookies while they bake. You want to pull them out of the oven when they’re just set around the edges but still slightly soft in the center. They’ll firm up as they cool, resulting in that irresistibly soft texture.
