A delicious breakfast dish that combines the classic flavors of french toast with the sweet and crunchy taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Made with slices of brioche bread that are coated with crushed cereal, cooked until golden brown and crispy on the outside, while soft and fluffy on the inside.

Ingredients for French Toast

You only need 5 ingredients to make this indulgent breakfast. Toppings are not a necessity, but highly recommended! Here’s what you need:

– Brioche bread 

– Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

– Eggs

– Milk 

– Cinnamon

Toppings for French Toast

Maple Syrup: Drizzle some of this sweet, sticky syrup over the French toast for a perfect pairing of flavors.

Whipped Cream: Add a dollop of whipped cream on top of your cinnamon toast crunch French toast to make it more indulgent.

Fresh Berries: Add some fresh berries, like strawberries or blueberries, on top of the French toast for a pop of color and fruity flavor.

Chopped Nuts: Chopped nuts, like almonds, pecans, or walnuts, add a crunchy texture and nutty flavor to the french toast.

4 slices Brioche Bread
1-2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, crushed
1 Egg
½ cup Milk of choice
1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
Toppings
Fresh Strawberries, sliced
Whipped Cream
Powdered Sugar

Directions

Prepare ingredients

Place the crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal on a plate, and set it aside. In a wide shallow bowl whisk together the egg, milk, and cinnamon. Whisk until there are no streaks of egg yolk or egg white.

Coat the bread

First, quickly dip both sides of a slice of bread in the egg mixture, making sure not to over-soak them. Next, place the dipped bread in the crushed cereal, thoroughly coating both sides. Repeat with all the slices of bread.

Cook, add toppings, & serve

Once all the slices of bread are dipped & coated it is time to cook them. In a medium pan on med/low heat melt a pad of butter. On the buttered pan, cook the slices of bread, flipping after 1-2 mins or when it has reached a golden toast color. After all the sides are golden and crispy, plate with your choice of toppings. I topped mine with powdered sugar, sliced strawberries, and whipped cream.
