I'm Sam!

Hiii! My name is Samira, but you’re my besties, so call me Sam! I’m a twenty-something-year-old, that is passionate & appreciative of the culinary arts.

For as long as I can remember I have been a fan of food. From growing up in a Persian family, surrounded by the most delicious home cooked meals to watching Ina Garten & Alton Brown on Food Network and playing Cooking Mama nonstop (no surprise there), food has always been on my mind.

Along with having a passion for cooking and baking, I was drawn to photography. Having both of these interests, it was obvious for me to start an Instagram account dedicated to anything and everything food related. That is when @SamsFoodCam was born!

I love sharing the beauty of food through a camera lens, along with recipes, tips, and tricks in the kitchen to make it easier to prepare food for the soul, while enjoy cooking along the way! 

I’ve started this blog to create a food family online, hence Sam’s Food Fam!
