5 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
12 oz bag Large Marshmallows
2 cups Mini Marshmallows
4 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

11 oz bag Caramel Squares
2 tablespoons Water
8 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Prepare Baking Dish

Line an 8-inch baking tray with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. This will make it easier to lift and cut the treats. Set aside.

Start the Rice Krispie base

In a large pot over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula. Continue until the butter is fully melted and starts to brown. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add in the large marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows have completely melted into the butter.

Finish the Rice Krispie base

Remove the pot from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies Cereal. Ensure that the cereal is thoroughly coated with the melted marshmallow mixture. At this point fold in the mini marshmallows for extra decadence! Transfer the Rice Krispie treat mixture into the prepared baking tray. To prevent sticking, you can use a butter or oil-coated rubber spatula to press it down into an even layer. Set this layer aside.

Make the Caramel Layer

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the caramel squares and water. Stir constantly until the caramel has completely melted. Pour the melted caramel over the Rice Krispie Treat base, ensuring it covers the entire surface evenly. Leave this layer to set; it should become touchable without sticking.

Make the Chocolate Layer

Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and unsalted butter together. You can use the double boiler method or microwave the mixture in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval. Once fully melted, pour the chocolate over the caramel layer, spreading it evenly to cover the entire treat.

Cool, Set, & Slice!

Allow the entire creation to set at room temperature for at least an hour. This gives ample time for the chocolate to cool and set. Once set, remove the Millionaire’s Rice Krispie Treats from the baking tray using the parchment paper overhang, and then cut them into perfectly even squares.
